Description
For the first half of the 20th Century Verona was a booming railroad town. Verona boasted a machine shop, repair shop, foundry and roundhouse. Engines would pull into the Verona Roundhouse to turn around for the return journey. The railroad yards employed many individuals from Verona, including a large contingent of women during World War One.
