Description
This is a new nō play written by Mōri Motonori, the former lord of Chōshū Domain, and Umewaka Minoru, the celebrated Meiji Period actor, in which an army general tells the Governor-General of the new Japanese colony in Korea (which Japan is soon forced to give up, until 1905) about the valor of the imperial army soldiers in their war against China in 1894-95.
