Description
Progress Photograph 19 for the William Penn Hotel. The hotel was designed by Janssen and Abbot and the construction engineer was James L. Stuart. Wooden boards have been put down, so workers can now walk within the standing I-beams. There are several men visible in this image, and they are performing various tasks related to construction. In the background, though partially obscured by smoke, the Frick and Carnegie buildings are visible.
