Description
Ten Franklin Water Tube Boilers under construction. The boilers have been installed, and brick is being added around the structure to house the fire that will heat the long water tubes. The finished boilers will supply steam power to the Charleston Con. Ry. Light and Power Company. The contractor, Rust Engineering, first specialized in this type of brickwork, but quickly expanded into other areas of design and engineering.
