Color reprints of all the maps offered in the Historic Pittsburgh Maps Collection are available for sale at a price ranging between $56.00 and $130.00 each depending on size (plus $15.00 S&H)

Full-scale reprints of the maps are printed on luster resin-coated photobase paper (9 mil). Map sizes vary depending on the year in which they were published; they have dimensions ranging from 15 in. x 17 in. to 32 in. x 47 in. The reprints are produced from the master digital files (300-400 dpi, 24-bit) and include a 1 inch border.

To purchase map(s):

• Take note of the year, volume number (when applicable), title, and plate number for each map that you wish to purchase. This information is available at the top of each map web page. (See Example)


• Print and complete a reproduction request form (PDF). To purchase more than two maps, please print out and staple additional order forms (Shipping & Handling charges will be calculated only once per entire order). Information about payment, address, and order verification is explained in detail on the form.


• At this time we are only accepting checks made out to the University of Pittsburgh. Orders will not be processed until a check is received and cleared.


• You will be contacted by email to verify your order prior to printing.


• All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be made.

Printing and shipment of map(s):

The University Library System has contracted with Warren Associates of Pittsburgh, PA to print the maps. Print orders will be placed as they are received. Maps will be shipped in heavy weight mailing tubes via UPS. From receipt of payment to delivery, map orders will take approximately two to four weeks to process.
