This online map collection comprises 26 volumes (1,122 plates) published by the G.M. Hopkins Company for Pittsburgh. This representative selection of plat maps covers the greater Pittsburgh area through the years 1872 to 1939. Currently we are in the process of scanning the remaining volumes of plat maps relating to Pittsburgh published by the Hopkins Company. These 23 new volumes will be added to the site in the coming months, thus providing access to all the known Hopkins plat maps published for Pittsburgh.

Also in the next few weeks we are planning to release a new interface for viewing the Hopkins maps. This interface is the same used to view maps in our other Historic Pittsburgh Map Collections. This interface offers an improvement in using the digitized maps.
