The ghost of an octopus killed by a fisherman appears before a priest to tell his tale of resentment. This play parodies mugen (“dream”) noh. Signature: 耕 漁 [Kōgyo]. Seal: Red letter seal in an octopus shape. Category: Kyōgen (dance play).
