Description
The subject of this capital is unknown in part because the capital has been damaged. There were originally figures at each of the angles of the capital. On the left, one figure faces the center of the capital-only the naked legs remain, though some scholars see a hand holding a bowl (basket) in which is a small creature of some sort, Standing this figure and facing it is a small nude figure (probably a child) holding its ankle in its hand. On the right, a stooping, nude figure holds a long arch-shaped object. (barely visible in this image)
