Description
Drawing of the exterior of the suoth side of the church ca 1840 prior to its restoration. The masonry is damaged, and the windows of the narthex have been blocked up. The roof of the transept tower was not original ans was later replaced by 19th century restorers. The roof of the choir aisle extended upward into the clerestory and was replaced in the 1840's. Notice the higher level of the roof at the east end.
