Panel 11: Pantaleon in a cauldron of molten lead
After he was miraculously healed of the burns he suffered in panel 10, Pantaleon was thrown into a vat of molten lead. An angel appeared, the fire went out, and the lead became cool.
Pantaleon (naked, haloed, and tonsured) is at center, standing in a large vat of hot lead standing on a frame. Underneath it are flames which are being encouraged by a man kneeling at left with a large bellows. Another man stands at right, prodding the fire with a long stick. An angel appears at upper left.
Compare to panel 05 (Pantaleon is baptized)
