Outer Archivolts with figures of God from Genesis (outer) and the Creation of the Earth and the fall of Man (inner)
Right side Outer and Inner 5: The Fall of Man (Genesis 3:1-6)
At the extreme left of the inner archivolt is the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, with the Serpent entwined around its trunk. Eve stands at center. Her arms are broken off, but one can assume that originally one of her hands contained a fruit from the Tree. Adam (beardless, naked) stands on the outer archivolt.
