A weaver sits at work behind a large loom. The scene takes place indoors- there is an arch and beam above from which hangs a curtain .
This panel has been greatly restored.
Panel 6: Christ appears to Theodore in prison (below)
Because he burned down a pagan temple and refused to renounce his Christian faith, Theodore was sentenced to be starved to death and was thrown into prison. However, Christ visited him in prison.
The prison (also seen in panel 5) has a doorway, masonry walls with crenulated tops and short towers. Within its encircling walls are Christ (crossed halo at left) and Theodore (haloed, inscription S:TIODOR) They face and gesture toward each other.
