Panel 07 Personification of January - Man with Three Faces / Sign of Aquarius
Left: Personification of January- A triple-faced man stands in front of the elaborate doorway to a fortress-like building. Two of his faces are in profile, the middle one full-faced. There is an inscription IANVARIVS.
At right is the Sign of Aquarius. A man with bare arms and legs empties water from an urn. Delaporte reported that in the early 1920’s, there was a partially preserved inscription- only the letters ….RIVS, no longer visible.
