Panel 16: Men in a ship
Together with panel 15, this episode shows Nicholas asking for aid for the victims of a famine in Myra. Most scholars think that panels 17 and 18 are a continuation of the miracle.
In panel 15, Nicholas gestured toward this panel. In this panel, two men stand in a ship on the sea. The ship has a curved bow, no sail, and an oar and what appears to be a rope in the stern. The beardless man to the left holds a large full sack on his shoulder. The other man may be holding the tiller of the ship.
