Delaporte no. 40, Deremble-Manhes no. 11
Panel 10: Pantaleon is tied to a cross and burned
Pantaleon (haloed, tonsured, wearing only a loincloth) is bound by his hands and his feet to a cross shaped like a cross of St. Andrew. On either side of him stand torturers who apply flaming torches to his flesh. The one at right raises a club as well. The one at left wears a parti-colored tunic (usually associated with disreputable people).
