Description
The Miracles of the Virgin Window
Delaporte no. 9, Deremble-Manhes no. 38
Panel 17-Supplicants for miracles of healing?
MODERN.
Six people. One barefooted man sits on a bed/chair (a litter?) in the foreground. A man standing at right holds a crutch aloft. The other figures (one possibly a woman) stand in the background and gesture toward one another.
Panels 17-21 form a single composition showing the Display and Adoration of Relics.
An early description by Pintard shows that the original subject of this panel was quite different from that in this replacement, which was made in 1928 (Delaporte, p. 193).
