Panel 14 Labor of May – Hunting or warfare ? / Sign of Gemini
In the back ground is a soldier dressed in chain mail, with a helmet, shield, sword and lance with a banner. In the foreground ground stands a grazing horse with a saddle. There is an inscription MAIVS. Some scholars say that this is a representation of hunting; others see it as military operations or training.
On the left stand two naked male twins, holding each other’s hands. There is an inscription GEMINI.
