Panel 02-Christ Announces the passion to the Apostles
Christ (barefoot, halo with cross) stands at the right raising His hand. Three apostles (haloes, barefoot, carrying books) stand facing Him in the left and center of the panel. The one nearest Christ has the facial type (short curly hair) associated with St. Peter. Above is an arc with clouds below it- Delaporte believes this is an allusion to the Transfiguration (see panel 1).
Delaporte notes strong Byzantine influences in this panel.
