Panel 12: Pantaleon is thrown into the sea
After Pantaleon is miraculously healed from the tortures shown in panels 10 and 11, a millstone is tied to his neck and he is thrown into the sea. Christ rescues Pantaleon (see panel 15).
At center a boat floats on the waves. It has a curved stern decorated with an animal head. A hooded boatman sits at right, his oar in the water. At left is a man holding Pantaleon’s feet as he is thrown into the sea. Pantaleon (tonsured, haloed, naked) has a millstone suspended from his neck by a rope
