Description
South Nave Elevation.
The lowest level, the arcade, has alternation of round piers with octagonal engaged shafts , and octagonal piers with round engaged shafts. In the middle level, the triforium, each bay has a small arcade with four arches. In each bay of the upper level, the clerestory. two lancet windows are surmounted by a small rose window. The ribs of the vaults are continued downward with by groups of engaged columns which end just above the top of the arcade piers.
