Panel 2: Christ sends Thomas to India.
After the Resurrection, Christ appears to Thomas and tells him to go to India. Thomas asks not to be sent there.
Christ (crossed halo) stands at right, while Thomas (haloed) stands at left. They look and gesture toward one another. On either side are stylized trees, indication that the scene takes place out of doors.
The bottom of this panel is cut off, probably when Panel 1 was inserted.
