Left - David challenges the giant Goliath. The large figure of Goliath wears armour and holds a large staff and a shield. Below him is the inscription GOLIAS.
Right - David cuts off Goliath’s head
The young man David raises Goliath's sword to behead the giant, who lays on the ground at right. Below him is the inscription DAVID.
