Description
The Miracles of the Virgin Window
Delaporte no. 9, Deremble-Manhes no. 38
MODERN.
Panel 21: Scene of healing (?)
Six figures look and gesture toward a cloud form at the top of the panel. At extreme left, a bearded man is supported by two crutches. At left, a man kneels, holding a crutch up toward the sky. Two of the four men at right carry staffs. One of the others is stooped over.
An early description by Pintard shows that the original subject of this panel was quite different from that in this replacement, which was made in 1928 (Delaporte, p. 193).
Panels 17-21 form a single composition showing the Display and Adoration of Relics.
