Description
According to Massé, an organ was erected in this place by a Dominican friar, Gombault Rogierie, and completed after 1481 by Maistre Gauthier le Marays. There have been many renovations since then, especially around 1884, when the instrument was extensively renovated by Messrs. Abbey of Paris.
This was originally printed in Organ Cases and Organs of the Middle Ages and Renaissance by Arthur George Hill, printed in 1883 (London: Chiswick Press).
