Panel 3: Pantaleon with the priest Hermolaus
Pantaleon had been introduced to Christianity by his mother, but became estranged from the faith. Later, an old priest named Hermolaus reintroduced him to Christianity. In this panel, Hermolaus (haloed, tonsured) sits at left on a large chair covered with a cloth. He looks and gestures toward Pantaleon (haloed, tonsured) who stands at right, holding a book.
