At left is the Labour of July (harvesting grain). A bearded man in a cap uses a sickle to cut stalks of grain. In the background are two stylized trees in full leaf.
At right is the personification of April. A bearded man with a flowered garland (?) on his head stands amid trees covered with leaves and blossoms.
