Panel 36: Christ blessing
Christ (barefooted, cross halo) sits on a large elaborate throne. With one hand, he makes a gesture of blessing. With the other, he holds a large round object, probably the globe of the world. He holds it, not in his bare hand, but in a fold of his garment- a way of holding a particularly precious object.
On either side (panels 34-5) kneel haloed, barefoot angels with multi-colored wings. Their palms are pressed together in prayer, they look toward Christ.
