Upper Left: Angel of the Annunciation to the Virgin (Luke 1:26-8)
A bareheaded angel Gabriel carries a rod- shaped object, the top of which has been broken off (a herald’s staff? a lily?) The angel looks to the right, where a statue of Mary stands on the other side of the chapel
(Please ignore the pigeon)
Louis de Bourbon donated this chapel in 1417. Restored in 1872.
