Vendôme Chapel- Exterior Sculpture
Upper Right: Mary of the Annunciation to the Virgin (Luke 1:26-8)
A veil covers Mary’s head and her hands are crossed in front of her upper chest. She looks to the left where a statue of the angel Gabriel stands on the other side of the chapel.
Louis de Bourbon donated this chapel in 1417. Restored in 1872.
