3: Angel
At the top stands a large angel (haloed, barefoot, multicolored wings) swinging a censer and holding a chalice. Williams points out that striped cloth was a specialty of the weavers in the Chartres area.
Restored in the 16th century. Angel restored in 1920 by Lorin
