Description
The Miracles of the Virgin Window
Delaporte no. 9, Deremble-Manhes no. 38
Panel 2: Donors- the Butchers
This panel was vandalized in 1908 and was very heavily restored.
There is a table parallel to the plane of the panel. On it are several objects including a severed head of an ox with horns. Behind the table, two butchers stand on either side of a haunch of meat- the one at left is cutting a piece from it with a knife. In front of the table, is a man with a hat- a customer?
