Panel 25: Hermolaus is beheaded
At left, Hermolaus (haloed, vestments of a priest) kneel and raise their hands in prayer. Hermolaus faces the viewer; his companions face toward the left. To the right stands a man wearing a short parti-colored tunic, half green, half red (cf. the James the Greater window, Margaret and Catherine window); he raises a sword and rests the other hand on Hermolaus’s shoulder.
