MODERN.
Panel 19: A Procession with Relics
At center, a large gold house-shaped reliquary is being carried on a litter on the shoulders four men wearing white garments. The litter is covered with a red cloth with gold decoration. In the foreground is a child swinging a censer. To the extreme right and left are four or more kneeling figures, their hands raised in gestures of prayer.
An early description by Pintard shows that the original subject of this panel was quite different from that in this replacement, which was made in 1928 (Delaporte, p. 193).
Panels 17-21 form a single composition showing the Display and Adoration of Relics.
