Pintard’s eighteenth century description of this panel is very vague, so the original iconography of this panel is unknown. In the replacement panel made by Lorin in 1876, Jonas (inscription IONUS) kneels in prayer between representations of the cities of Tarsus and Nineveh (identified by inscriptions).
