At left, on the inner archivolt, Adam and Eve crouch, covering their genitals with their hands, surrounded by foliage. Adam holds his head in his hand. At right, on the archivolt, God stands (cross halo)
Lower Outer and Inner 7: God confronts Adam and Eve (Genesis 3: 11-14)
On the outer archivolt stands God (cross halo) his hand raised toward Adam and Eve (inner archivolt). Adam and Eve cover their genitals with leaves. Adam (at right) points to Eve (at left). Eve points to the serpent, which is at their feet.
