A man and a woman giving alms. The woman wears fashionable 13th century garments, including a barbette (chin strap) and a tourette (flat tart-shaped hat). They are often supposed to be Peter Mauclerc, the Count of Dreux and his wife, Alix. See Williams for a discussion of these figures.
