Abstract: This microfilmed collection contains the records of the Trinity United (German) Church of Christ, located at 139 Main Street in Greensburg (Westmoreland County), Pennsylvania. This church was formerly known as the Second Reformed Church. The collection includes minutes, financial records, annual reports, letters of resignation, property assessments, and records of births, baptisms, marriages, and deaths.

History
The Trinity United Church of Christ, located at 139 Main Street in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, was once known as the Second Reformed Church. Its congregation consists primarily of people of German ancestry.
Collection Scope and Content Notes
The records of Trinity United Church of Christ (formerly known as the Second Reformed Church) consist primarily of minutes of the church council, 1859-1980. These minutes include financial reports, annual reports, letters of resignation and property assessments. There are three volumes of church records whose titles vary (Combined Church Record, 1848-1890; Pastoral Acts, 1891-1924; Combined Church Record Book, 1923-1944) though they contain similar material such as births, baptisms, marriages, deaths, etc. Finally, the minute book of the Building Committee, 1880-1881, is included.
