United Electrical, Radio, and Machine Workers of America (UE) Local 284 represented workers at J.C. Rhodes Company in New Bedford, Massachusetts. In 1996 the company closed its New Bedford plant and moved to Georgia after a battle with the city which tried to gain control of the facilities using eminent domain. This subgroup contains forms, grievances, and the charter of UE Local 284.
