United Electrical, Radio, and Machine Workers of America (UE) Local 190F was incorporated into the union on November 1, 1949, as part of the merger between the UE and the United Farm Equipment and Metal Workers, who were expelled from the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO). The local was originally formed at Phoenix Metal Cap Co. in Chicago, Illinois, in July 1944. This subgroup contains correspondence, grievances, and negotiation information from UE Local 190F. Employee cards are also present.
