Scope and Content Notes: The material in this subseries reflects the administrative functions of the St. Clair Improvement Company, including the information on lot prices, taxes, mortgages, rents, and advertising. The advertising materials best illustrate the development and construction of Clairton. It is interesting to see how the Improvement Company tried to sell the town of Clairton to potential homebuyers prior to it being built. There is some miscellaneous material comprised of handwritten notes, calculations concerning sales of lots, rental lists, company properties, and taxes. Material in this subseries is arranged in alphabetical order.
