Series I. Harmar Mine Maps, 1915-1980

Scope and Content Notes:

This series includes maps, information sheets, and technical drawings relating to the Harmar Mine. The Harmar Mine was located in Harmarville, Harmar Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, along Guys Run and the Allegheny River on the Pennsylvania Railroad and Harmar Bridge Canal. The mine was first owned by the Harmar Coal Company (beginning ca. 1915) then by the Consumer Coal Company.
