Scope and Content Notes:

This series contains materials relating to the Black and White Reunion, another organization initiated by Stevens. Stevens founded the project in 1997 in the wake of the controversial death of Jonny Gammage at the hands of Pittsburgh police. The organization aimed to build bridges between the African American and Caucasian communities in Pittsburgh. The material in this collection includes brochures, correspondence, flyers, meeting minutes, Stevens' personal notes, news clippings, and other documentation.
