Subseries 2. Governor's Justice Commission, 1969-1972

Scope and Content Notes:

Thornburgh was named Chairman of the Governor's Justice Commission in 1969 and he served until 1972. Because Thornburgh was appointed to chair this commission at roughly the same time as he became U.S. Attorney, the speeches from this subseries are scanned and available for on-line use in the U.S. Attorney files.
