Subseries 1. Speeches
|
Scope and Content Notes: The 1978 Campaign for Governor speeches are chronologically ordered. They include all major speeches given by Dick Thornburgh and testimony presented to various committees of the State Legislature. In addition to a "clean copy" of each speech, there also may be one or more drafts with notes, comments and changes. In addition, there may be "background material," with related newspaper articles, and speeches or notes on the same subject. Full text of all speeches and testimony is available here online.
