Subseries 12. Strike Forces

Scope and Content Notes:

These files serve as an interesting follow-up to those on the subject in the U.S. Attorney section. The folders include correspondence, memoranda, newspaper clippings, notes and reports. Notably, these files contain the critique by the General Accounting Office of the necessity of Strike Forces and the subsequent correspondence regarding that opinion. This is not the last time there will be strike force files in this archive as the issue persists during his years as Attorney General of the United States.
