This series contains 189 35mm black and white negatives taken by Martin on April 7, 1968 that document the march that occurred in Pittsburgh on the National Day of Mourning three days after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on April 4, 1968. The images in this series are scanned and appear online. Never published before, these images provide the most significant and unique documentation of the march.
