Subseries 4 contains correspondence, memoranda, articles, and other records covering Elsie Hillman’s workings and involvement with the Hill House Association. Hillman was a board and committee member of the “New Agency for the Hill District,” which later became the Hill House Association. As part of this agency, she was instrumental in helping to found the Hill House, which was created from the merging the Soho Community House, the Anna B.
