Ephraim Douglass was a trader in western Pennsylvania and a soldier in the Revolutionary War. This collection consists of four ledgers that primarily document the stock and sale of supplies at Forts Pitt and Kittanning during the 1770s. Douglass's business partners during these years were his brother, Joseph, Devereaux Smith, and Richard Butler.
