ASC Releases Guide to University Archives' Film and Video Material
The Archives Service Center mounted a new finding aid that provides a detailed inventory of all the film and video material held in the University Archives. This collection (ca. 1928-ca. 2001) of over 2,300 items mainly pertain to Pitt athletics, but also document various University events and history. The moving image material ranges from interviews and speeches by prominent University figures to sports highlight videos and University institutional messages. Types of media include VHS tapes, Betacam SP tapes, ¾ inch U-matic tapes, and 16 millimeter film.
