The Archives Service Center released finding aids to two labor activist organizations. Environmentalists for Full Employment
formed in 1975 to demonstrate that environmentalists and organized labor share common concerns and need to work together to address these issues. This collection includes research files regarding environmental and labor issues, such as occupational hazards, pollution, and clean energy. The Alliance for Progressive Action
was formed during the spring of 1991 as a coalition of labor and grass roots organizations in Pittsburgh, Pa., that was involved in labor, environmental, social, political and civil rights issues.
